About The Tractor Centre
New Zealand’s biggest used tractor dealership was established in the township of Pukekohe in 1936 when it was originally called Comrie & Hood. In 1994 the iconic company took on the new name – The Tractor Centre.
The Tractor Centre expanded and moved premises in 2001 to a 10 acre property with a new purpose built 24,000 square foot building with a 6.5 meter stud located at the edge of Pukekohe. The prime location and large size of the premises allowed all of the facilities to be under one roof to cater for the broad section of clients which includes lifestyle blocks, farmers, contractors, golf courses and large corporations.
Affiliated to, Agco, Husqvarna, Walker and many other major brands, the locally owned and operated company employs over 30 people and prides itself on supporting a large number of charities and community activities.
As a one stop shop, the Tractor Center provides clients with a complete solution with our extensive range of departments and services that include a well stocked parts department, a large workshop, a fleet of onsite servicing vehicles, an engineering and panel and paint shop. We have a highly skilled turf care specialist team and also offer an extensive hire fleet which has competitive weekly and long term hire rates that are ideal for peak season, short term or long term use or project work.
